As a life-long motorcycle enthusiast, the actor has been involved in some meaty scrapes, the last of which left him with enough metal in his body to give Arnie’s T-800 a run for its money. In late-2012, Bale was involved in a serious accident, which resulted in a steel plate being put in his wrist, the insertion of a titanium clavicle and 25 screws to hold his arm together. He also chopped off the end of one of his fingers (fortunately, doctors managed to reattach it) and to this day Bale hasn’t regained a full range of motion in his left arm.
