VICTORIA BECKHAM is not creating a fashion line with Sarah Jessica Parker, despite rumours earlier this week. The two were linked - first via blogs and then by some high-profile fashion publications - but a spokesperson for the designer has confirmed for us this morning that there is no truth in the rumours.

한 주 간 루머에도 불구하고, 빅토리아 베컴이 사라 제시카 파커와 함께 패션라인을 만들지 않을 거라고 한다. 최초로 블로그를 통해서 그리고 나중엔 유명한 패션지들에 의해 밝혀졌지만 이들의 대변인은 오늘 아침, 그 루머는 신빙성이 없음을 확인시켰다.

Despite their mutual admiration - Parker has worn Beckham's dresses, and talked about how much she admires the Vogue cover girl; whilst Beckham has enthused about her love for Sex And The City and Carrie Bradshaw in particular - it seems that a link-up of this kind just is not on the agenda.

사라 제시카 파커는 빅토리아 베컴의 옷을 입기도 하고 빅토리아가 얼마나 보그 커버 걸을 찬양하는지 얘기하며, 또 빅토리아는 즐겨보는 드라마 '섹스앤더시티'의 캐리에 특히 열광할 정도로 두 사람은 서로를 존경하는 관계였지만 - 두 사람이 공동으로 패션라인을 만든다는 얘기는 금시초문이다.

Beckham's label has recently gone from strength to strength - including a British Fashion Award in late 2011 for Best Designer Brand and the launch of her second label, Victoria, Victoria Beckham - and the designer has admitted that she is incredibly busy running her British-based business from LA whilst dealing with the rigours of family life. Parker meanwhile, has expressed interest in a return to the fashion world, following the end of her ill-fated creative tenure at Halston in 2011, but has not yet revealed what form that return will take.

2011 브리티쉬 패션 어워드에서 베스트 디자이너 브랜드 상을 받은 것과 두번째 브랜드인 '빅토리아, 빅토리아 베컴'을 론칭한 것과 더불어, 최근에 빅토리아 베컴의 브랜드는 점점 승승장구하고 있다.  또한 그녀는 집안일과 동시에 영국을 기반으로 한 LA에서의 사업을 운영하느라 믿을 수 없을 정도로 바쁜 것을 인정했다. 한편 사라 제시카 파커는 2011년 불행하게 끝난 홀스톤 헤리티지 재임을 끝으로 패션계 복귀에 관심을 표했지만, 어떤 방식으로 패션계에 다시 발을 내딛을지는 아직 미지수다.

It's certainly been the week for Victoria Beckham rumours, with murmurs that the Spice Girls are set to auction their costumes also flying around in the media. For the record, we hear from the group's management that this one also isn't true.
